Medicare’s Depression Screening benefit is underutilized in J5 and J8 even though the prevalence of depression is relatively high. Would you like to learn more about coverage and proper documentation for the benefit? Let us help. This webinar covers:
• General documentation requirements
• Documentation specific for depression screening
• Tips for completing documentation.
We will also review sample documentation and examples of tools to complete the screening.

After course registration, participants can complete Learning Center modules for questions/comments on the benefit. First, a module that will help identify barriers keeping providers from performing the service. Second, a module allows submission of questions to address during the live event.
Once you register, complete the following steps:
• Login to the WPS GHA Learning Center
• Select the “My Dashboard” link
• Locate the tile for the course
• Select the module titled “Barriers to Depression Screening” and/or “Presubmitted Questions”

To cancel your registration, open the module titled “Live Event - 12/15/20 Documenting Medicare’s Depression Screening Benefit 2”, and click on Unregister.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
CEUs can be obtained from professional organizations. WPS GHA will provide a Certificate of Achievement once you successfully complete a course in the Learning Center.
