This training is intended for our J5/J8 Part A/B providers billing on a UB-04/CMS-1500 or electronic equivalent.

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) consolidated billing (CB) covers the entire package of care that a resident would receive during a covered Medicare Part A stay. However, there are some categories of services that have been excluded from consolidated billing because they are costly or require specialization. During this webinar the Provider Outreach and Education team will assist in identifying those services that are excluded from Part A reimbursement. The POE team will also help familiarize you with available resources so you may receive reimbursement.

The Provider Outreach and Education A/B Medicare Administrative Contractor Workgroup developed this material. Our joint effort ensures consistent communication and education, so providers and physicians have the information they need to submit claims appropriately and receive proper payment in a timely manner.
