This training is intended for any J5/J8 Part A/B provider billing on a UB-04/CMS-1500 or electronic equivalent.

Based on law, Medicare makes payment for most services provided for beneficiaries in a Medicare covered Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) stay as a bundled prospective payment. Payment is made through the Part A MAC to the SNF. This law means the SNF must bill for the entire package of care that residents receive during a covered Part A SNF stay. There are some exceptions. This course covers an overview of SNF CB and which services are included and excluded from the bundled payment. At the conclusion, learners will know how to determine which Part A and Part B services are separately billable.

The training includes multiple modules. Each module must be completed before the course is marked complete. The date and time listed in the registration section are system completed place holders. This course is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
The course must be marked complete in order to receive a Certificate of Completion which is required by the governing bodies issuing CEUs.
